Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC)

Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with an expanding behavioral health organization dedicated to helping people with mental health and substance use disorders. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor in the greater Minneapolis, MN area. The LADC plays an important role in the delivery of treatment services to clients and is responsible for ensuring that all clients receive services mandated by the Minnesota Client (Client).
Position: Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor
Location: Greater Minneapolis, MN
LADC Duties:

• Evaluate and modify program design to meet licensure requirements and needs of clients.
• Provide case management/file documentation for individual caseload, noting all treatment-related activities and services in an accurate, professional, and timely manner including assessment of chemical use and mental health problems, creating and monitoring individualized treatment plans, providing group therapy and individual counseling services to individuals with co-occurring chemical abuse and mental health problems.
• Facilitate/participate in groups regarding the disease of addiction and the recovery process consistent with maintaining good mental health.
• Provide culturally sensitive and relevant services to diverse clients and their families.

LADC Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Active Minnesota licensure as a LADC required
• 1+ Years of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Experience
