Job Description

The Vice President, Head of Global Channels for Acceptance, reporting to the SVP, Global Head of Acceptance Solutions Sales. We are looking for an experienced leader who will be at the forefront of our global channel sales strategy and programs. The VP of Global Channel Pursuits is responsible for bringing their strategic vision and innovative approach to build a multi-tier global channel program to support a seamless go-to-market that supports our cross functional efforts.

Global Channels are defined as our partner/indirect channel and is inclusive of ISVs, PayFacs, ISOs, Acquirers, PSPs. As the VP of Global Channel pursuits, you will lead across a global portfolio of strategically identified channel prospects. This leader will work in close partnership with the collective Value-Added Services (VAS) and Visa General sales, product, and solutions leadership teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Help achieve Acceptance Solutions Bookings, Revenue and Key Success Indicator objectives globally by leading a strategic global channels team focused on advancing a scaled & efficient partner sales, enablement, and commercial model.
  • Develop new commercial constructs and pricing across 4 vectors: Enable, Sell To, Resell, Refer
  • Provide subject matter expertise and market insights to influence regional & global market sales strategies
  • Develop quantified frameworks to meet global and regional revenue goals
  • Deliver specialized client sales engagement, tools & support model
  • Build and arm leaders with advanced reporting on AMO, pipeline sufficiency, and global revenue achievement for channels globally
  • Lead an extended team to develop a standard set of processes, commercial solutions, and reporting on performance for Global channel partner and acquirer accounts

Team Objectives:

  • Support achievement of global & regional revenue, bookings, and delivery goals to acquirer/partners/ISVs, PSPs, PayFacs and others
  • Improve Acceptance Platform and Value-Added Services (VAS) delivery operating model to global channel partners
  • Increase partner share of wallet, and VAS attach rates within the global channel partner segment
  • Reduce time to revenue & improve partner delivery measurements
  • Advance and simplify GTM framing and value positioning within partner sales content
  • Create more advanced analytics and reporting to improve regional/global strategies, informed by market intel
  • Assist in creating an ecosystem on the Visa Acceptance Platform which enables all parties partnering and monetary opportunity
  • Advance and refine Visa’s IDDEA sales methodology for channel partners

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 15+ years of experience, including significant experience in an executive leadership role in a P&L support function in a global, multi-channel sales environment with USD 1B+ in revenue
  • Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and facilitating collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Technology and Customer Service organizations
  • Pragmatic mindset with intense focus on execution against client needs, articulation of value proposition and concrete sales focus
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills - thinks strategically to influence and drive tactical execution, particularly in a matrixed organization
  • Must be results-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks of an urgent nature and must effectively deal with ambiguity
  • Experience in developing and tracking client-centric strategies within a complex multi-national, matrixed organization.
  • Outstanding open communication and collaboration: actively promote an environment of inclusion and diversity of thought, proactively limit or mitigate unconscious biases, honest and direct communication.
  • Innovation driven: up-to-date with latest payments trends, Champions bold ideas and new ways of doing things, ask challenging and stretching questions.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and business vision, with proven ability to work with senior leaders and teams across geographies and functions.
  • Solution focused: connect the dots and leverage Visa best practices, unafraid to make timely decisions in ambiguous, high pressure situations, quick to adjust/recover and reset priorities in changing circumstances.
  • Strategically driven leader with hands-on mentality, curiosity is part of your DNA whilst being results oriented.
  • Experience developing and executing on strategic business plans.
  • Multinational experience and willingness to travel globally.


Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 272,000 to 374,000 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
