( SUMMARYThe Fuel Tax Coordinator III acts as a subject matter expert and escalation point for SSC/HQ Fuel Tax teams and offshore vendor. The Coordinator will process fuel tax documents, collaborate with customer, vendors and Ryder team members to address and resolve reporting and document concerns. Coordinator is responsible for overseeing multiple automated and semi-automated customer processes.RESPONSIBILITIESApprove, validate and process fuel tax reports for all Customers. Managing and maintaining document receipt as well as vendor escalation queues. Ensure format and file type are acceptable to Ryder and IFTA.Distribute and oversee workload for Collection Coordinator II and assign cases to Compliance Counterparts to address missing/inaccurate dataOversee automated and semi-automated processes including but not limited to addressing escalations, technical issues, tracking and productivity reportingIdentify customers utilizing a system or format that is compatible with an automated provider. Collaborate for setup of electronic data transferResponsible for maintaining updated reporting included but not limited to customer, vehicle, vendor information to details to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.Provide education, training and support for customers, vendors and Ryder teams as well as education and guidance for specialized situations with internal and external customersLead special projects including delegation, progress reports and completion analysisAudit manual and backup files to confirm data continuity to mitigate IFTA audit risk.Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly scorecard metrics associated to designated areasADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESMeets all outlined SLA and Quality goals established for the team and position.Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHS diploma or GED, requiredThree (3) years or more of related work experience, requiredThree (3) years or more related business experience in Fuel Tax, requiredKnowledge of Fuel Tax requirements, processes and restrictions, intermediate requiredProficient in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook), intermediate requiredSkills and AbilitiesAbility to guide, engage and impart knowledge to othersEffectively coaches and delivers constructive feedbackAbility to simultaneously handle multiple prioritiesDemonstrates excellent judgement and decision making skillsAbility to listen, write and speak effectively.
