KG Workforce Solutions is recruiting for a Senior Loan Processor in Columbia, SC. The Senior Loan Processor will interact with customers and ensure appropriate communication and documentation for loan files. Conventional lending only. Must be well versed in Fannie Mae and DU loans.
Training onsite in Columbia and once trained, position can be worked remotely. Must live within driving distance to Columbia as you will come into the office as needed.
The Senior Loan Processor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Requesting, obtaining, and tracking required documentation for loan underwriting
- Providing appropriate disclosures as required by local, state, and federal regulations
- Prioritizing work and duties to ensure timely processing of loan files
The Senior Loan Processor should have the following education, experience, and abilities:
Requirements
- Education and/or experience equivalent to an associate’s degree in business or accounting
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in residential mortgage processing , loan analyst, processing assistant or loan officer assistant is preferred.
- General knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending documents, practices and regulations. Specific knowledge of RESPA, TIL and Integrated Disclosure guidelines.
- Ability to handle full caseload of submissions of purchase, refinance and construction-to-permanent loans with finite lock periods.
- Must be able to make sound decisions and work at an acceptable pace as to avoid delays and/or closing and rate lock extensions.
- Excellent follow-up, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in various computer software programs including Microsoft Office, database management and other business applications.
- Flexibility to handle constantly changing multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
