Lavu is a global, #1 ranked restaurant POS and payments platform. The scaleup is rapidly growing and searching for an exceptional Director of Outside Sales leader. This enthusiastic and confident professional would be seeking the opportunity of a lifetime, to be part of a mission that is positively changing the lives of restaurant owners. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Lavu’s local market presence and acquire new restaurant clients. You’ll recruit, train, lead and empower a growing team of sales reps working in our South Tampa office.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of outside Business Development Representatives and Sales Representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their goals across multiple markets.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and business objectives for outside sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets for Lavu's solutions, leveraging market research, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry partners to drive sales growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall business strategy.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue growth. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in outside sales leadership roles, preferably in the technology or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of success in building and leading high-performing sales teams, achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business goals.
- Strong sales acumen, strategic thinking, and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales teams to achieve excellence.
- Experience working with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales analytics tools to track performance and optimize sales processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
