Massage Therapist

Principal Responsibilities:
JOB TITLE: Massage Therapist
SUPERVISOR: Wellness Operations & Spa Manager
Schedule: Part time
The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a spa massage therapist. This position primarily works with members by delivering a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, waxing). The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Qualifications & Specialized Skills

• Meet appropriate certifications/ qualifications to perform services

• Customer service oriented and result driven
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (on-site training provided as needed)
• Deliver a variety of spa services
• Maintain and keep a clean and stocked room
• Respond and help with all costumer inquires
• Provide a schedule
• PPE Gear required
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
• Cooperate with and report to administration with any issues
• Other duties as needed

• Develop clientele by seminars, workshops, demo days etc.
• Keep the work room/ area safe and clean
• Work with other therapist to share space/ rooms and time
• Help sell services and product by working with the fitness desk.
• Cross promote fitness programs the JCC has to offer.

• Provide services for members per diem including but not limited to:

Massages, facials, waxing, therapeutic services, etc.
Physical Demands

• Requires long periods of standing or sitting
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Minimum Qualifications:

Salary:
$25,000 - $35,000
