About the Role:
The Global Payroll Specialist will report to the Payroll Manager and play a key role in supporting the global payroll team. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with tax and labor regulations, and handling off-cycle payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll operations at a multinational company, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely and accurate global payroll processing in compliance with local tax, labor regulations, and SOX.
- Review timesheet and absence records for completeness and accuracy; assist employees and managers with time-entry inquiries.
- Calculate and process off-cycle payments.
- Provide customer service to employees on payroll-related inquiries.
- Assist with special projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in payroll operations at a multinational company.
- Workday Payroll experience.
- Knowledge of global payroll regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Equity experience.
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll.
