Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer. The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the mortgage lending process, including underwriting, customer service, and managing a portfolio of clients. The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
Qualifications:
- Must be an actively licensed Mortgage Loan Officer in Nevada. Willing to obtain other state licenses as necessary.
- Proficient with AUS (LP, DU).
- Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment
- Knowledge of the mortgage industry and underwriting guidelines
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with referral sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience using mortgage origination software - Encompass
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations concerning mortgages
