Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and HUNTER style sales and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned territory by developing strong relationships with clients and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of retail sales experience, account management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Meeting assigned sales targets for agreement-based services and new business development is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit new customers and support existing customers by building relationships.
  • Protect and maintain the morality and ethics that Expert Crane, Inc. has built with their customers.
  • Maintain the reputation for quality and excellence in overhead crane and hoist design, manufacturing, and maintenance services through performance, reliability, and integrity.
  • Represent ECI in a mature and professional manner, utilizing good communication and people skills.
  • Oversee, educate, and up-sell existing customers to increase total sales in your territory each year.
  • Identify and aggressively solicit potential customers through market penetration and product implementation for ECI.
  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and provide an accurate status of all open quotes and review weekly reports as required.
  • Assist in designing a usable tool for important note-taking related to customers that is accessible by the sales team and backup staff at ECI.
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with others by telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face discussions.
  • Be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, including warm, hot, and cold temperatures.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment with a high level of contact with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred; however, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in service-related sales preferred; however, equivalent education, experience, and training will be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Experience meeting monthly minimum sales quotas.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and always team-focused.
  • Good PC skills, ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) at a beginner to intermediate level.
  • Prior experience with cranes is a plus.
  • Position requires a high degree of travel.
  • Critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities through lead generation.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to track sales activities, manage accounts, and report on performance metrics.
  • Conduct inside sales activities, including upselling products and services to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any technical sales inquiries.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing product features and benefits.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings in the market.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in retail sales and account management.
  • Strong lead generation capabilities with a focus on business development.
  • Proficiency in using software tools such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability in upselling and technical sales, providing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving sales targets.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
