The Tag Management Specialist will play a key role in managing and optimizing the deployment of analytics, marketing, and tracking tags across our North American Bosch and Dremel digital properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tag management systems (TMS), web analytics, and marketing technology platforms to ensure data accuracy, enhance performance, and support business goals.

General Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with marketing, analytics, and development teams to define tagging requirements for new initiatives.
  • Create and maintain tags using Tag Management Systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium).
  • Implement, test, and optimize tags across web and mobile properties.
  • Audit and validate tags for accuracy and data quality.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance, troubleshooting issues related to tag firing, tracking discrepancies, or broken functionality using debugging and analytical tools to guarantee the accuracy and cleanliness of data
  • Ensure accurate tracking of digital marketing efforts, including media campaigns, conversions, and user interactions
  • Document and communicate tag setups, changes, and best practices to stakeholders.
  • Maintain consent management dialog to ensure compliance with local data protection laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications or Computer Science fields
  • Skills/technical degree in marketing/digital is a plus
  • Online marketing, web analytics, developer experience
  • One to five (1-5) years of experience in an analytics role
  • Hands-on experience with tag management systems like Tealium or Google Tag Manager
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Knowledge of Consent Management Platforms (CMP) and privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience with A/B testing and personalization platforms (e.g., Optimizely).
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to drive consistently high-quality work under tight timeframes
  • Ability to effectively communicate results in a concise manner
  • Software: Google Analytics / Power BI / Tealium / Structured Query Language /
