Position Objective
GENEX is seeking a Dairy Territory Sales Manager position to cover the San Joaquin Valley from Modesto to Fresno . In this role, you will provide personalized genetic, reproduction, and breeding program assistance to members/customers who will result in improved profit potential for them and high levels of satisfaction. Your primary focus will be selling GENEX semen, services, resale products, and programs to achieve sales goals, margins, and develop new business in sales area.
This position is 100% dairy emphasis.

Position Objective

Your primary focus will be selling GENEX semen, services, resale products, and programs to achieve sales goals, margins, and develop new business in sales area.

Major Areas of Accountability
- Achieve budgeted unit and dollar growth for GENEX dairy and beef semen and GenChoice™ semen
- Build solid, long-term relationships
- Increase market share through the development of retail sales, service herds, and resale product sales
- Develop strategies, implement plans, and determine accountability for each targeted herd
- Establish goals and plans for achieving resale product growth
- Handle semen ordering, shipments, and return of inventory
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent practical dairy/Ag experience
- Prior consultative sales experience
- Microsoft knowledge
- Enjoy working with members and customers to help them be profitable
- Travel required-this role will cover Modesto to Fresno as well as a pocket territory in Fallon, NV
