We are currently looking to fill the position ofHR Business Partner with a starting range of $68,000 - $92,000/year, dependent upon experience, education, and skills. Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and company policies, offering exceptional support to our team members.
  • Conduct investigations and collaborate with management and legal to resolve complex employee matters.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws and best practices, regularly reviewing policies and procedures.
Onboarding & Orientation
  • Lead an engaging onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition with all necessary paperwork, benefits discussions, and orientations.
Culture & Engagement Initiatives
  • Collaborate with the HR team members and other employees to design and implement employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive workplace.
  • Facilitate surveys to gather feedback and analyze trends, ensuring that every employee feels valued and respected.
  • Plan events such as health fairs, social gatherings, and recognition initiatives that celebrate our team's contributions.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, promoting a safe work environment through regular updates and communication.
  • Attend safety meetings and oversee follow-up actions.
Leave Management & Workers' Compensation
  • Serve as the primary contact for workers' compensation and leave inquiries, coordinating with third-party services as needed.
  • Manage FMLA requests and assist with ADA discussions, ensuring compliance and support for our employees.
Recruitment Support
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to fill open roles proactively, ensuring we attract top talent quickly.
General HR Support
  • Provide backup for payroll as needed and assist in the development of HR policies and communications.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency across HR functions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the associated documentation for departing employees.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience preferred, with a focus on employee relations and compliance. Experience in a Distribution Center or Manufacturing a plus.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Paycom HRIS or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all HR matters.
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Experience building and presenting using PowerPoint.
