To strengthen our team in North Canton, we are looking for you as a(n) Senior Chemist .

Position Overview:

  1. Work with sales managers and customers to identify customer needs and develop applicable formulations.
  2. Develop appropriate testing plans for work to support opportunities.
  3. Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
  4. Coordinate with operations to introduce new products and address quality issues with existing products.
  5. Optimize cost position during product development through formulation optimization.
  6. Provide support for chemical and lab safety.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering / Material Science with 3+ years in a technical role in a chemical manufacturing environment and/or QA/QC laboratory.
  2. Rubber compounding, rubber testing, or rubber processing experience a plus.
