Your New Role

The Sr Ops Analyst (Temporary) oversees operation and day-to-day duties related to live events streamed on B/R Live and B/R. This work requires initiative and confidence in making judgment calls. The objective is to maximize the success of operators and mitigate issues.

Your Role Accountabilities

  1. Basic to advanced understanding of live event production, with a preference for sports.
  2. Ability to read a production rundown and translate it to operators.
  3. Interest in sports that doesn’t detract from day-to-day duties.
  4. Familiarity with AD coordination lines/multipurpose call bridges.
  5. Basic understanding of live event streaming and/or OTT products, including but not limited to: RTMP, HLS, VoD content (mp4 vs MXF), H.264, etc.
  6. Basic to advanced understanding of the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, including editing, encoding, and transcoding.
  7. Computer proficiency specific to iMacs and laptops.
  8. Understanding of social media and/or curiosity about its integration.
  9. Help manage operators' continued learning and achievement, effectively training new operators on processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Experiences

  1. Strong team player who can advocate and represent the B/R Live and B/R operation through troubleshooting, incident reports, and a variety of communication methods.
  2. Strong ability to prioritize assignments.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with and escalate feed/operator/tool issues.
  4. Must exhibit the ability to make confident and level-headed decisions in high-intensity situations.
  5. Sense of urgency.
  6. Curiosity about video streaming and the technology set.
  7. High attention to detail while maintaining the ability to see the big picture.
