Requisition Details:

Responsibilities include:

  1. Understand existing System design and its components and make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
  2. Analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions.
  3. Develop design documentation artifacts in UML.
  4. Lead a small team of onshore/offshore developers through the development process.
  5. Conduct peer code and design reviews.
  6. Support functional and performance testing.

Job Requirements:

  1. Experienced application architect/designer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and testing distributed large-scale transactional systems.
  2. Experienced in systems analysis and design using OOAD, AOP, IOC concepts.
  3. Experienced in data access technologies and patterns (JPA, Hibernate, iBatis, JDBC).
  4. Experience with the Spring Framework and solid understanding of dependency injection/IOC concepts.
  5. Expert knowledge of JAVA, J2EE/JEE, MVC application frameworks (Spring MVC and/or Struts), design patterns, web and application servers.
  6. Experience with SOA technologies (REST and/or SOAP).
  7. Experience with Axis2 Web Service stack.
  8. Experience in using AJAX framework (Ext-JS, DOJO) and JavaScript libraries (JQuery, YUI) desired.
  9. Experience working in full iterative/Agile development environment.
  10. Experience with WebSphere 8.x.
  11. Experienced in performance tuning and optimization using JProfiler preferred.
  12. Experience working with and customizing Ant or Maven build scripts.
