Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite in Boston, MA

What you will do:

As a Gift Processing Coordinator at The Trustees, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Fundraising Data Services team by processing philanthropic gifts and maintaining high-quality donor records. You’ll work closely with both the Finance and Development divisions to ensure the timely and efficient recording of gifts while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Specifically, you’ll:

  1. Process gifts in compliance with IRS regulations
  2. Process and track donor tax receipts and acknowledgments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  3. Maintain clean and up-to-date donor records, including ongoing data cleanup
  4. Assist with organizing and filing gift documentation, ensuring data security and adherence to compliance regulations
  5. Assist in scanning and organizing gift backup documentation
  6. Accurately process gifts and enter data into Salesforce or other CRM systems, ensuring timely completion of data projects and tasks
  7. Perform other related gift processing, data, and CRM-related tasks

This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position, reporting to the Senior Manager of Fundraising and Data Services.

Qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

  • Some experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service to partnered departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on writing and proofreading
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential donor information with the highest level of discretion

  • Current authorization to work in the United States – a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment
