Overview

At Zscaler, we're on a mission to make the internet safe for every user, anywhere. We seek a seasoned Principal Product Manager with a strong cybersecurity background to lead endpoint security, sandboxing, and anti-malware initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence the direction of our cybersecurity products and significantly impact our global customer base.

Responsibilities

  1. Product Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the endpoint security, sandboxing, and anti-malware product roadmap in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to bring products to market and ensure their success.
  3. Customer Engagement: Directly engage with customers to understand their challenges, gather product feedback, and identify new opportunities.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis and stay abreast of the latest trends in endpoint security, sandboxing, and anti-malware.
  5. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring that products meet and exceed customer expectations.
  6. Internal Advocacy: Act as the internal subject matter expert, providing training and support to sales and other teams.

Qualifications

  1. Experience: 7-10 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on cybersecurity.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Proxy Architecture, HTTP, DNS, SSL, Malware Detection, IPS, Advanced Threat Protection, Sandboxing, and endpoint security. Familiarity with cloud-based security solutions, especially Zscaler's offerings, is a plus.
  3. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
  4. Customer-centric: Strong customer engagement skills with a knack for understanding and translating customer needs into product requirements.
  5. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and devise appropriate strategies.
  6. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and effectively.

Education

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or MBA is a plus.
