Purpose and Job Summary
ORIX USA is looking for a Managing Director, Investor Solutions/Private Credit to oversee the capital raise for our asset management business. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of business development, fundraising, and some marketing across ORIX USA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee capital raise for Asset Management Group.
- Responsible for business development, fundraising, and marketing.
- Expand network for potential strategic investment partnerships with large institutional investors.
- Market intelligence through the gathering of competitive product offerings and terms, investment trends, investment volume by strategies, etc.
- Lead investor meetings, roadshows, and webcasts for new products.
- Ability to present firm offerings at targeted conference platforms globally.
- Working knowledge of investor technology platforms and investor tax structures.
- Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Contacts
This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and other office visitors.
Education, Skills & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 – 10 years of experience in private credit, capital formation, investor relations, or related field.
- 7 – 10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Working knowledge and understanding of capital raise strategies and techniques.
- Candidate must have a vast global institutional investor network.
- Must be a top fundraiser for at least 7 years.
- Must have a deep understanding of and experience working with corporate debt, direct lending, CLOs, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure LOBs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems or software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments, and to meet critical and established deadlines; ability to manage multiple assignments and transactions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to use discretion in the performance of daily activities.
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; ability to adjust priorities in a changing environment.
Annual base salary gross: $225,000 - $275,000 (CA only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX USA’s salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA's total compensation package for employees.
