Title - SW Verification Engineer
Location - West Columbia, South Carolina (onsite only)
Client - Harsco Rail
Budget - As per the market standard for 3 to 5 years ONLY
Experience - 3 to 5 years
Job Description:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation testing
• 3+ years of experience in Design and execute automated test scripts using C++, Python , and other scripting languages.
• Develop Manual Test Cases / Procedures based on Design/Requirement.
• Develop Test Cases and Scripts using LDRA tool for verifying software and perform regression is a Bonus.
• Perform Software Verification activities with Whitebox Unit / Component Test , System/Hardware Software Integration Test methods.
• Perform Test Software Integration and debugging.
• Use Configuration Management tool like SVN for test artifacts configuration and defect tracking.
• Use Requirements management tool like Jama for tracking and tracing Software Requirements to Test Cases - added advantage
• Perform Software requirements, Code and test artifact reviews, raise defects.
• Create and document methods to confirm that products meet or exceed requirements and customer expectations.
• Identify and communicate risk areas allowing the team to make informed release decisions and provide regular status update.
• Be an active participant in the solicitation and management of test/design/requirements.
• Provide accurate time estimates so work can be planned and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Work as an individual contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Participate in test bench execution (installation, commissioning, troubleshooting).
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
• Co-ordinate with Offshore team and track/support testing activities.
