As an intern with our HR team, you'll gain real-world experience in HR data analytics and workforce management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Analytics Intern to join our HR team. You will assist in analyzing and interpreting HR data, helping drive strategic decisions related to workforce planning, employee performance, retention, and diversity. This internship is ideal for a candidate looking to gain hands-on experience in HR analytics and contribute to the success of a large construction company.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze HR data related to employee demographics, performance, and retention.
- Assist in developing dashboards and reports to present HR metrics and trends to management.
- Support HR team with workforce planning, employee engagement surveys, and compensation analyses.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and operations teams to ensure accurate data collection and interpretation.
- Provide insights on talent acquisition, retention, and workforce development based on data trends.
- Assist in automating and improving HR reporting processes.
- Participate in various HR projects and provide data-driven recommendations.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Math or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.), and familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HR software or HRIS systems.
- Basic understanding of HR metrics and key performance indicators.
- Familiarity with programming languages like SQL or Python for data analysis (not required, but a plus).
