Lyft Business is one of our fastest growing and most profitable business units, which enables companies to provide the world's best transportation to the people they care about. This role will be focused on the Business Administrator and Platform teams, building intuitive enterprise products to help company administrators create, launch, support and scale their transportation programs with Lyft.


We’re looking for a Product Designer to advocate and maintain a customer-centric culture within Lyft, and be happy and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define and create top-notch experiences. You’re experienced with every step of product development, from brainstorming broad ideas to ensure design quality through launch. Using your full range of interaction, visual, and product thinking skills, you will own the Administrator and Platform experiences across Lyft Business.


Responsibilities:

  1. Create a compelling vision for the future of the Lyft Business Administrator experience, which allows businesses to set up and launch their transportation programs with Lyft.
  2. Drive the design strategy for the Lyft Business Platform, and collaborate with other teams who build products on top of it to grow the business.
  3. Design intuitive yet powerful experiences that can scale across a number of different use cases, and support B2B customers of different company sizes.
  4. Co-lead with talented, empathetic cross-functional partners on product strategy and process.
  5. Influence cross-functional and cross-team efforts to build innovative and impactful experiences.
  6. Problem solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts/ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively towards your vision.
  7. Plan strategically and think tactically as a partner with product and engineering to define the future of the team.
  8. Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work using high quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes.
  9. Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally, while being able to precisely articulate design rationale.
  10. Inspire the entire team (including your cross-functional) partners by bringing new ideas to the table.
  11. Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with team members from across the Product and Marketing Design Teams.

Experience:

  1. 4+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI related field with experience working on desktop, web, platform, or B2B products.
  2. Experience working with a lean team of Engineers, Product Managers and Program Managers.
  3. Experience designing innovative products for mobile.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Experience with user research methods and analysis.
  6. Expertise with Figma and other prototyping tools.
  7. Excellence in design craft.
  8. Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
  9. Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid


The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $124,000 - $155,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
