POSITION PURPOSE:

Bonneville Seattle has an immediate opening for a dynamic Media Account Executive. The Media Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue across all Bonneville platforms including Radio, Seattle Mariners, Seattle Seahawks and our Digital Agency. In this role you will be required to work collaboratively with our internal support teams to develop data-driven sales of advertising solutions to new and existing clients. You will develop multi-media campaigns from effective pre-sale customer needs analyses to campaign launch, reporting, and upselling. We are looking for someone that can aggressively prospect, quality targets, configure solutions and close five to six figure programs. Bonneville’s solution-based approach and depth of product offerings requires that this Media Account Executive possess a deep understanding of the overall advertising landscape.

The Media Account Executive will interact with Sales Management, Digital Advertising Operations and Sales Support to ensure seamless campaign execution, providing a high-level of client service support. This person will be a key contributor to the revenue organization.

Note: Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

  • This position represents Seattle brands with the option for hybrid/remote work that requires the employee to regularly be able to participate in weekly meetings. Specific hybrid/remote work will be determined based on qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • “Hunt” – search for and develop new digital business and grow existing digital business.
  • Demonstrate expertise of selling digital advertising products including digital display ads, SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, mobile, programmatic, IP targeting, OTT/CTV, e-mail, mobile advertising and website landing page development.
  • Prospect and identify marketing revenue opportunities, secure meetings with high-level decision makers and influencers, create broadcast and digital sales packages, present to clients, and close the sale.
  • Create holistic digital marketing solutions with the ability to manipulate and calculate pricing structures utilizing CPM (cost per thousand) and CPC (cost per click).
  • Create fully integrated marketing campaigns to deliver strong ROI for clients utilizing both traditional radio and digital extension.
  • Collaborate and work with Account Manager team.
  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Fully participate in CRM (Client Relationship Management) system.
  • Participate in training to enhance professional skills and overall understanding of new and evolving media.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-4 years of inside sales/outside sales experience.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, particularly with direct, new business relationships.
  • Passion for professional excellence and integrity with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically prospect new business, overcome objections, and have courage to ask again.
  • Proven experience in selling digital marketing solutions to clients across multiple business verticals.
  • Proven knowledge of third-party digital solutions as well as rich media technologies, including PPC, impression and click through tracking pixels.
  • Experience customizing fully integrated, multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, attribution models & ROI calculations.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret statistical data and draw conclusions from findings and follow-through.
  • Ability and willingness to resolve unexpected problems and be flexible to perform unscheduled assignments.
  • A high level of proficiency with computers, software, and new technologies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate computer keys and general office equipment.
  • Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation Range: This is a 100% commissioned role, with an initial temporary minimum commission guarantee.
