Immediate opportunity for a Shipping Clerk in the Vandalia, OH area!

Responsibilities: 
  • Use proper safety PPE for any process being performed or as required in the work area 
  • Responsible packaging and shipping parts to assigned customer accounts. 
  • Process Orders using ERP system. Follow all appropriate work instructions  
  • Package parts for customers as required in SAP 
  • Follow proper FIFO of all parts 
  • Check workstations clean and organized. This includes warehouse isles                                           
  • Check and report any and all un-safe conditions.  
  • Ensure all PPE are used at all times.  
  • Aide in loading/unloading all inbound and outbound freight. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager. 
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum High School Education or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience in rubber manufacturing.
  • 1 Year experience in Shipping/Receiving environment.
  • Experienced in operating a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc. 
  • Experience in operating computer system including but not limited to SAP, UPS World ship, DHL, and FedEx, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Understanding of proper shipping methods and procedures for LTL and Truck load freight carriers. 
  • Strong communicator
  • Problem solving skills
  • Understands & can apply lean tools
  • Able to identify waste
  • Team player
  • Fundamental knowledge of area and processes
Schedule: M-F 7AM-3:30PM 
Pay: $17.50/hr
