Pharmacosmos is focused on three business areas: branded pharmaceuticals, APIs, and carbohydrates. The US company focuses primarily on the prescription iron pharmaceutical market. Job Purpose:
This position is a marketing function in strategic market analysis; providing inputs to current marketing strategies; developing and implementing high impact marketing plans to meet corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Execution
- Meet or exceed net sales, volume, and P&L targets
- Achieve critical milestones in annual marketing plan
- Implement marketing strategy including the planning, development, and implementation of product marketing plan; will include personal and non-personal marketing initiatives and other strategies and tactics for building brand awareness, trial, and usage in a highly competitive market
- Other duties as assigned
Marketing Function Leadership
- Collaborates with internal Marketing and Sales Training staff to develop training programs.
- Personally, observe the performance of sales representatives in the field on a regular basis.
- Contribute to marketing plans and participate in the planning and execution of national sales meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned
Policies, Procedures & Compliance
- Stay current and in compliance both individually and as a department. This includes all Corporate Policies as well as mandated government Regulations
- Stay current with and adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
- Strictly adhere to administrative requirements as directed by PTI
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Professional Background:
- BS/BA degree in marketing, business, or life sciences required; MBA preferred
- 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- 5 years pharmaceutical product management experience, at least 2 years of Buy-and-bill OR HEM/ONC experience required; Buy-and-bill AND HEM/ONC experience preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical functions outside of Sales (Marketing, Sales Training, Operations, National Accounts) in specialty markets is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and expand relationships with key customers and key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and business acumen
- Strong knowledge of the evolving changes within the pharmaceutical industry
