We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team.

As a Restaurant General Manager, your primary responsibility is to the customer, ensuring that every guest has a wonderful experience.

To be successful as a Restaurant General Manager, you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

You will also assume a variety of responsibilities and duties such as recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, creating and executing restaurant marketing strategies, developing menus, as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests and supporting service. JOB DUTIES:

  1. Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation
  2. Deliver exceptional guest services
  3. Ensuring guest satisfaction
  4. Plan new and update existing menus
  5. Plan and develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy
  6. Manage restaurant’s tech stack
  7. Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
  8. Organize and supervise shifts
  9. Manage and lead staff
  10. Develop hourly and salary staff
  11. Hire new employees
  12. Terminate employees when necessary
  13. Training and evaluate staff performance
  14. Manage food cost, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory
  15. Manage restaurant supplies including smallwares
  16. Control costs and minimize waste
  17. Create and nurture a positive working environment
  18. Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity, sales, and food quality
  19. Extensive knowledge of Craft Beer and Cocktails

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Ideally, 5+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role
  2. Ideally, 5+ years of experience in customer service management
  3. Extensive food and wine knowledge
  4. Computer literacy
  5. Familiarity with restaurant management software
  6. Experience in event planning
  7. Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  8. Good financial management skills
  9. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  10. Team player
  11. Good time-management skills
  12. Great interpersonal and communication skills
  13. Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration
