Job Description
Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Software Developer (Mobile Automation Engineer) to be a part of the Consumer Products and Engineering team and will collaborate with engineers in order to solve problems, improve workflows, increase confidence and mitigate risk through automation. Apply technical expertise to help improve the workflow and efficiency of Mobile and App developers at Fox, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and automated tests in Azure DevOps. Specific duties include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Refactor existing CI/CD pipeline workflows and custom code to be more efficient and scalable.
- Create new configuration-based CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
- Work across a variety of mobile and app platforms such as iOS, Android, tvOS and Roku.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within existing pipelines and assist in researching different tools that can be used across all teams.
- Discuss, document and standardize mobile and app automation tooling and best practices across multiple business units.
- Build and maintain end-to-end, integration and unit tests.
- Assist in the setup of iOS and Android CI/CD pipelines in Azure for multiple business units.
- Migrate iOS and Android CI/CD pipelines from TeamCity to Azure.
- Document best practices and enforce them for both internal teams and vendors.

Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in mobile automation engineering or related IT experience in mobile automation and testing, including experience in mobile DevOps; writing automation tests; reviewing codes; and scaling and maintaining code shared across multiple projects.
Experience must include three (3) years of experience creating YAML based CI/CD pipelines files.
- Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following:
- Experience in Jenkins, Jira, CircleCI, Slack, Bash and Groovy;
- Experience in Docker, Git, GitHub Actions and GitHub Container Registry;
- Knowledge of Swift for iOS and TVOS and Kotlin for Android;
- Knowledge of various mobile and app platforms/ecosystems;
- Experience using Azure DevOps;
- Experience using code driven configuration for CI/CD pipelines.
Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $177,029.00-194,731.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
