Job Summary
The Risk Analyst will be integral to a small but growing finance team. Working closely with the Sr. Treasury Manager and VP, of Finance, you will assist with identifying, evaluating, and managing risk within the Company.
Essential Functions

• Identify and assess potential risks impacting the organization's objectives, projects, or operations.
• Assist with compliance reporting ensuring that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to minimize legal and regulatory risks.
• Liaison between multiple departments to collect and obtain exposure information, required for various policy renewals, audits, and inquiries.
• Request certificates of insurance, memorandum of insurance, and confirmations of coverage documentation from insurance brokers.
• Administer vessel insurance documentation as required.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries
• Other duties as needed

Competency
Education:

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of previous risk analytics experience in a mid-size company
• Previous experience in the Cruise industry is a plus
• Must be articulate and possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels
• Detailed and deadline-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
• Team player who is flexible and adaptable
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
• Self-starter, able to function with little supervision
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Software and/or Kyriba will be considered a strong asset

Work Environment

• Hybrid, working in a business-casual office environment in downtown Ft. Lauderdale
• Fulltime and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
