Luminate: Senior Vice President, Sales
Luminate is seeking an ambitious and driven Senior Vice President, Sales to join our team as we continue to grow and develop our sales effectiveness.
As Luminate values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite in our west Los Angeles (Sawtelle) office 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Responsibilities:
- Drive New Sales: Manage, develop and lead a global team of sellers, planning and executing with the team to drive new logo and ARR development with new and existing market segments, business verticals and customer profiles.
- Exceed Targets: Achieve team sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Business Expansion: Grow our services business, Insights, to support existing customers as well as expand into new verticals such as Brands and Consulting.
- Channel Development: Work with Revenue Leadership and Marketing to expand revenue from Enterprise accounts via Account Based Marketing and Small/Medium Business via Product Led Growth strategies.
- Collaborate Strategically: Work closely with the Executive Team, direct report sellers, product and the broader Go To Market organization to drive revenue growth and ensure client satisfaction.
Required Experience and Attributes:
- Quota Carrying Sales Experience: 10+ years' experience in SaaS data, technology, or software sales, with 5+ years in enterprise sales management and preferably with experience within the entertainment industry. Fluent with SaaS metrics and go-to-market strategies.
- Team Development and Management: Demonstrable team and individual development success, including coaching for improved performance. Implement best practices in sales processes, customer relationship management and pipeline management.
- Quota Overperformance: Demonstrated track record of Quota attainment and overperformance.
- Sales Leadership: Comfortable managing all sales disciplines including Sales Engineering, SDR and Account Management. Instrumental to and/or led sales from $50m to $100m+ in ARR.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable working with data and metrics to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem Solver: Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying new business opportunities. Technically sophisticated and bias to solutions-based sales and GTM.
- Networking: Strong networking skills, ideally with an established network within the music and entertainment ecosystem including major entertainment platforms (ie Amazon, Spotify, Netflix), studios (Disney, NBCU), talent agencies (WME, CAA), music labels (Sony Music, Universal Music, Warner Music, Believe, Roc Nation), publishers and valuation focused companies (BMG, Hipgnosis, Citadel) and related companies.
Additional Qualifications:
- Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce), Google Workplace, Microsoft Office and data analytics tools at an individual and team management level.

Our base salary range for this position is $220,000 - $250,000 + commission. We consider your skills and experience, what similar jobs pay at companies of our size, and ensure fair pay among colleagues. Final base salary offer amounts are determined by factors including your experience and expertise. In addition, we are proud to offer additional perks and benefits that contribute and complete our total compensation package. Luminate reserves the right to change our compensation bands at any time.
