About the Role:
The Account Director is responsible for the strategy and implementation of our clients’ media investments. Implements the media strategy and optimization of our client’s budgets. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, providing seamless care, collaborating internally to maximize client performance. Through regular contact with the client, they review campaign results, proactively present ideas, assess challenges and opportunities, to maximize the success of the client’s campaign.

Responsibilities:

  1. Broadens and deepens existing client relationships to gain strategic positioning as well as retain existing revenue and attain additional business.
  2. Evaluate and pursue opportunities for new partnerships in media services, clients, and related companies.
  3. Demonstrates strategic leadership and working with the strategy/creative departments to establish what is next for the business and client, driving the business forward.
  4. Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicating all offerings.
  5. Working closely with Junior Account Executives (AEs) to effectively manage client budgets and maximize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS).
  6. Drives account management responsibilities including solution creation, solution offering, configuration management, service management, and revenue/CRM solutions.
  7. Will implement new show tests and roll out, ensuring client and CRT goals are being reached (Budget, Media Performance and Client Reporting) while maintaining compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  8. Work with Media Buyers to cancel, add, rebook, or title change media where needed. Contribute to weekly meetings for the campaigns.
  9. Synthesize data, industry information and competitive landscape to analyze results, identify trends and determine the appropriate marketing strategy for each campaign. Provides input to sales management about changes taking place within the client’s organization and makes recommendations to continuously improve the company’s position with the client.
  10. Liaise & coordinate with internal departments (traffic, media buyers) and outside partners (call centers, fulfillment) to ensure timelines and goals are being met.
  11. Ensure team wide operational excellence. Manage to gain consensus.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
  2. 8+ years experience in Direct Response campaign management, Media Buying and or Client Services
  3. Strong writing, project management and organizational skills; and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  4. Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  5. Possesses superior networking and negotiation skills.
  6. Technical competence (understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.)
  7. Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  8. Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  9. Team Player and ability to lead a team. Positive attitude and enthusiasm for Client Service.
