Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Machinist II, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Machinist reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining several machine types in an industrial setting. The position involves troubleshooting, moderate decision-making and problem solving. The role works under limited supervision and provides some guidance to other members. There is limited contact with external suppliers or customers. This is a weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday shift typically starting at 5am-5pm. Working 36 hours, but paid for 40
What You Will Be Doing
Sets up and operates machines with little or no supervision and performs required process checks or inspections per the process documentation.
Adhere to all safety standards, regulations and operating procedures.

Identify, document and controlnonconforming material according to procedures, identify and implement corrective actions to address nonconformance and implement root cause corrective actions.

Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions and blueprints and download programs.
Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets and method documents to correctly set up machines and inspect machined parts.
Utilize various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to the engineering specifications and standards through the production run. Collaborate with appropriate organizations to develop and assist in the implementation of process plans and improvements.
Clean and maintain measuring instruments and test equipment and inspect parts for cleanliness (e.g., routed and deburring operations). Operate precision inspection equipment and perform first piece check out when applicable to the job.
Interpret and follow blueprints for proper production task completion.
What We Are Looking For
US - High School Diploma required
2-5 years experience required
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects.
Deburring skills preferred
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
