Marathon TS is hiring multiple Software Engineers to support our client in Washington, DC. This is a 100% onsite role, and the right candidates will have an active TS/SCI w/ poly with the following skill set:
The Software Engineer will work in a dynamic environment supporting critical mission applications, leveraging cutting edge technology on NextGen SaaS and PaaS environments. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, as a member of a highly motivated project team.
Six (6) years' experience in software development in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
- Debug existing software and correct defects
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
- Develop data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Possess Procedural language (PL/SQL) experience or understanding
- Have experience or an understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other business systems
- PeopleSoft PeopleTools
- SQL
