What you'll do:

  1. Execute quality discovery process to equip new agencies for success with TTD
  2. Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with senior leadership at independent advertising agencies and direct brands
  3. Work collaboratively with client services and with The Trade Desk trading team to onboard new independent agencies
  4. Communicate the value of The Trade Desk media buying platform by walking through capabilities presentations and demonstrations of the product
  5. Take lead in responding to RFP’s, leads, and new business inquiries including qualification & win strategy
  6. Prospect and negotiate net new MSAs and spend endeavors across independent agencies and brands
  7. Work closely with marketing and revenue teams to constantly optimize efforts relating to company-wide goals
  8. Identify and close strategic new agency business opportunities by understanding core client business needs
  9. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  10. Accurately manage and communicate net new business pipeline
  11. Contribute to The Trade Desk culture by bringing your full self
Who you are:
  1. 4-8+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmatic
  2. Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, DMP, or other online advertising company
  3. Programmatic platform sales experience highly preferred
  4. Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients
  5. Desire to build a new business portfolio from the ground up at a leading technology company
  6. Existing relationships with decision-makers at independent advertising agencies a plus
  7. Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability
  8. A passion and curiosity to continue to learn
  9. A consistent strive for excellence
  10. High EQ, with a good sense of humor
  11. Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations and new business targets
