The Area Rental Sales Manager is responsible for making face to face contact and customer visits in order to secure rental orders.

SUMMARY

The Area Rental Sales Manager is responsible for making face to face contact and customer visits in order to secure rental orders from National Accounts, Dealers, and IRC customers.

DUTIES

  • Make sales calls in designated territory with the goal of increasing rental business for HCMA.
  • Coordinate customer activities, quoting and pricing to customers.
  • Take appropriate actions on concerns and issues from customers and field personnel.
  • Monitor, follow-up and report sub-regional market dynamics and segment performance to management as required.
  • Work with RBM to secure dealer support of aftersales competencies for customer segments.
  • Communicate to the Rental Ops Manager sales possibilities/risks regarding discounts affecting price realization and market share in customer segment.
  • Work with Sr. Manager Aftersales to develop dealers product support for customer segments, and to resolve technical issues.
  • Work with inside rental coordinators to facilitate all transactions proceed as smoothly as possible.
  • Being the commercial interface for assigned customers.
  • Developing customer profitability through strategic development of assigned customers.
  • Effective implementation of customer tools (Consite, telematics, etc.).
  • Contribution goals, operating expenses and customer satisfaction for assigned customers.
  • Operate within assigned budgets and parameters as laid out by Rental Operations Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • (Minimum) Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • (Preferred) Bachelors Degree.
  • Industry competence.
