Guests can immerse themselves in the local culture, music scene, and culinary delights that make Nashville a premier destination.Essential Job Functions:The Director of Sales & Marketing has direct oversight of the Sales, Marketing, and Events operation of the hotelThe DOSM has the responsibility of the Sales, Marketing, and Events Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetingsThe DOSM is responsible for the supervision of sales managers, and administrative staffAdditional responsibilities include the recruitment and hiring of sales staff, training, managing and coaching sales managers in their selling process in order to meet company goals and maximize hotel revenuesMust be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor both the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accountsCommunication and organizational skills are of the utmost importanceQualifications:Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities.
