Culture and Talent Management Consultant
Given significant organization change in the past several years, the CME Group is looking to refresh and recommunicate cultural values, behaviors and leadership competencies that support an organization focused on growth, innovation, and customer centricity.
CME Group's Talent Management team is seeking full time support for the culture refresh work, as well as broader talent management support in the areas of Performance Management and Talent Reviews. We are seeking a full time consultant to help:
- Translate cultural values into understandable language and demonstrated behaviors.
- Develop a change management strategy inclusive of a stakeholder analysis, influence approach, communications, and implementation plan to support the culture refresh.
- Facilitate discussion groups at various organization levels to gather input and socialize the culture shift.
- Enable and support culture champions to help drive change.
- Work with the Talent Management team and HR Business Partners to update the CME Group Competency Model to reflect desired cultural values and behaviors.
- Work with the Talent Management team and HR Business Partners to identify other talent processes that need to be updated to reflect the desired cultural values and behaviors.
- Other projects may include supporting CME Group's performance management process enhancements and talent reviews.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience implementing culture change for an organization.
- Change Management certification or experience is strongly desired.
- Experience with competency model development and implementation.
- Broad talent management experience in midsize to large organization, inclusive of performance management, talent reviews and succession planning.
- Skilled at facilitating focus groups at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience anticipating and overcoming barriers to change.
- Strong program and project management skills, and ability to operationalize and scale programs.
- Experience using Workday, and Google Workspace.
- Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with all levels of leaders across HR and business functions, including senior leadership.
- Able to assist with the strategy development and "roll up sleeves" to help execute.
Duration:
Expect 40 hours per week. In office CME Center, Chicago 3 days/ per week and as needed for meetings. April - December 2024, with possibility of renewed contract or permanent placement.
