( the PositionThe Mental Health Associate position within the Lane County's Medication Assisted Treatment programs will be focused on case management for our patients with opioid dependence. Duties will include assisting patients with accessing services to meet their individual needs. These services will range from accessing health care and insurance to coordinating care for other community services. Initiating contact with patients and communicating with clinical and medical staff. This position will handle all case management needs for the outpatient methadone clinic patients and will be cross-trained in the buprenorphine treatment program to assist with the influx of patients and tracking patients referred to each program. This position will work closely with all treatment and medical staff and providers to assist in determining treatment needs. This position requires a high degree of organizational skill and excellent communication. The MHA will need to be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral, document in an electronic health record, and be able to work independently and within a team.About the DivisionLane County Behavioral Health provides services to more than 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions.
