Position Summary

White & Case is looking for an experienced financial systems administrator to support the operations of our global finance and accounting systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Elite 3E or other similar accounting systems, both from a functional and technical perspective. This role will involve issue resolution as well as system administration tasks. We are looking for someone that has several years of experience supporting the system and is interested in building on their knowledge and applying those skills in practice in a fast-moving global firm.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Assist with managing financial systems applications including Elite 3E, Chrome River, Intapp Time, and Xcelerate.
  • Investigate and resolve user issues with finance systems.
  • Write specifications, set priorities, and assist with oversight on development work for system fixes and upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain testing plans; coordinate, oversee, and perform quality assurance on system fixes, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Manage consultant and vendor relationships.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including system maintenance, balancing, data integrity, and month-end and year-end processes.
  • Liaise with other departments on integrated data and cross-functional processes.
  • Keep abreast of technology advancements in the legal accounting ecosystem.
  • Leverage database knowledge to produce ad hoc reports based on user requests.
  • Assist with the implementation of new products, including e-invoicing systems, cloud applications, and AI tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Must have experience working with Elite 3E.
  • At least eight (8) years' experience in an accounting, finance, or system support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance systems and technical framework.
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes.
  • Expertise with SQL and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with project planning and management.
  • Understanding of software development work and procedures.
  • Experience with integrated systems, including XML, JSON, and other data formats.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Methodical and careful work practices.
  • Must be available for month-end and year-end close.

Location and Reporting

  • This is a hybrid role based in our Tampa office.
  • This role reports to the Global Financial Systems Senior Manager.
