Our Senior Vice President, Operations is a key member of the Leadership Team who assists with the development of strategic priorities, product/service offerings and business goals. They lead the overall management of lending, branches, digital banking delivery channels, and back-office operations. Their primary focus is to develop, and execute plans that attract, grow, and retain members. This is accomplished through industry knowledge/experience and by developing and retaining individuals with values that reflect those of CME Credit Union.
Strategic Leadership
- Coach, mentor and recognize employees to develop their skills and drive engagement by connecting them to the Credit Union’s Purpose and Goals.
- Participate at long and short term planning events and attend monthly Board Meetings.
- Develop and implement written operational procedures and measures/monitors their effectiveness.
- Implement process improvements to simplify workflow, improve member experience, and refine operational efficiencies.
Lending Operations
- Direct lending operations across various locations, departments, and delivery channels. This includes origination, processing, decisions, closing and servicing of all loans.
- Manage the Credit Union's Loan Policy, ensuring we offer the right products and ensuring it is compliant with regulations.
- Review/Approve loans within lending authority. Coordinates approval and funding of mortgage loans through our strategic partner Member’s Mortgage.
Retail Branch Operations
- Direct branch operations and the delivery channels for new members, loans and deposit account openings.
- Establish, measure, and improve the member experience and retail service standards.
- Ensure the Credit Union’s retail operations remains compliant with regulations that affect the function and delivery of deposit and e-services operations.
Deposit/Back-Office Operations:
- Direct and supervise deposit and back-office operations including debit cards, wires, ACH, check processing, plastic cards, account verification, subpoena requests, e-services, and other general member support services.
- Direct online, mobile, RDC, P2P, and BillPay banking services, as well as other e-service enrollment.
- Ensure deposit/back-office operations remain in compliance with regulations that affect the function and delivery of deposit and e-services.
- Manage loan servicing for first mortgage, and consumer loans.
Qualifications
- Experience and functional knowledge of banking core systems and their operations.
- Working knowledge of credit union regulations and compliance in retail banking, lending and back office operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, member relations, and communication skills.
- Educational/Experience Requirements
- College degree (BS or BA) or equivalent experience in a relevant role.
- Four (4) years of managerial responsibility at a credit union/bank or similar type of financial services organization.
- Five (5) years of lending experience, with three (3) or more years lending authority.
- Seven (7) years functional/operational experience in retail banking, lending and/or bank operations.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
