Vice President of Sales, Midwest Division (Indiana, Ohio, Missouri)

We are currently looking to fill a key position, Vice President of Sales in the Midwest Division (Indiana, Ohio, Missouri). The mission of the Vice President of Sales is to oversee the functions of census development that lead to growth in overall business. This position will be based out of our regional office in Indianapolis, IN.
The Vice President of Sales will partner with the Operations Team to identify total census and census mix barriers and develop strategies to eliminate or minimize internal census development barriers, as well as assess professional and community sales opportunities, identify and allocate area and center resources, and manage sales plans.
The Vice President of Sales will be a proven senior living executive with high integrity, vision, strong interpersonal relations skills, and outstanding leadership ability. This executive must bring a record of successful operations oversight, financial management, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and achieve sales plans in collaboration with Operations.
- Collaborate with Regional Teams to coach and mentor Sales Leaders on achieving census and revenue goals.
- Provide sales planning and formation of sales goals by location.
- Ensure timely and consistent delivery of competitive analysis.
- Take a hands-on approach to facility site visits with modeling of tours, sales calls, inquiries and follow up.
- Provide training to Sales Leaders related to lead generation & conversion, and sales processes/programs to further develop skill sets.
- Support the Division President and Regional Director of Operations in managing all marketing efforts and service programming to meet the expected revenue achievement of the building on a monthly basis.
- Foster teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, taking actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Sales experience in the Long Term Care Living Industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and leadership of sales teams.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing multi-facility portfolios.
- Solid knowledge of sales process design.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals through a dispersed sales team.
- Dynamic, energetic personality with the ability to motivate others.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint and aptitude to quickly learn relevant programs.
