Job Requirements / Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small team of financial analysts providing financial support, reporting, and consultation to Agency and Specialty Lines leadership.

  • Design and build management reporting to measure performance against strategic goals and communicate this strategy to product and finance leadership.

  • Contribute to the innovation of current financial models, build new models, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of forecasts.

  • Lead and monitor financial policies and practices to ensure accurate and timely financial and operational reporting.

  • Partner across functions to incorporate strategic assumptions into annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Advise and serve as a business partner to Agency and Specialty Lines leadership and finance leadership team on business strategy, financial strategy, and business performance.

  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.

  • Evaluate channel economics and drive investment analytics on expected vs. actual outcomes to continuously improve decision-making and assumption drivers.

  • Provide leadership; fostering alignment, transparency, and talent development across multiple teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.

  • 3+ years experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or similar field.

  • Prior management of analytical associates preferred.

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical, mathematical, and market research modeling techniques utilized to predict future outcomes for forecasting and planning purposes.

This position is a hybrid role, on-site 3 days per week in the Chicago, IL location. At this time, GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
