Job Details

This is an on-site role in the Durham, NC office. We are looking to hire an Engineer with experience in PVSyst and/or PVlib systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and evaluate solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including system components, to optimize system performance.
• Conduct performance tests and system audits on solar PV systems, and interpret results to make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to create cost-effective and efficient solar systems.
• Use SQL, Grafana, and Python to analyze data, create visualizations, and optimize system performance.
• Develop and optimize Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to improve energy storage and delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in the solar industry, and incorporate new knowledge into designs and plans.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
