Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the data analytics and reporting infrastructure across Angel Oak’s public strategies which include mutual funds, ETFs and SMAs. You will work closely with our portfolio managers, traders and other stakeholders to develop and maintain portfolio analytics, client & internal reporting, and due diligence requests. - Maintain, develop and implement analytical tools specific to structured credit instruments.
- Enhance reporting frameworks for structured credit investments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to investment teams, senior management and clients.
- Work closely with the investment team to provide analytics and insights for portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions.
- Monitor investment holdings and their performance, identify outliers and relative value opportunities.
- Participate in due diligence requests from various stakeholders across the firm.
- Architect and execute ETL processes tailored for intricate data structures within a multifaceted organization, ensuring optimized performance, data integrity, and adherence to compliance standards.

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an understanding of fixed income.
- High level of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in ETL tools and processes, with hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
- Ability to design and optimize data transformation workflows, ensuring data integrity and performance.
