Job Requirements / Description
Position Title: Credit Analyst I
Reports To: Credit Department Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Developing loan applications for credit requests of current and prospective customers. Credit applications include a detailed cash flow analysis, collateral analysis and all other analysis pertaining to the strengths and weaknesses of the applicant.
  • Spreading of financial information on current and prospective customers.
  • Assist Senior Lender, Credit Administrator, and Lending Officers with reports used to monitor the loan portfolio, track loan delinquencies, track concentrations within the loan portfolio, etc.
  • Attend loan committee and take minutes as needed.
  • Ensure that all credit files are kept current with financial statements, tax returns, current loan applications, proper documentation, etc.
  • Providing credit information from Credit Bureau or other agencies as requested.
  • Continue to seek improvement of credit skills through seminars, training sessions and/or credit classes.
  • Represent the Bank in community development activities.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Accounting or Finance, will consider students graduating in May 2025
Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills: especially Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail - with the ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to prioritize work flow to meet crucial time deadlines
