Role Overview:
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our client’s metals manufacturing team to manage the full product life cycle. This role welcomes applicants from various backgrounds in metals manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related)
- 5+ years in metal fabrication management experience.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and equipment
- Recent project management experience with none automotive metal fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects on time and on budget, while identifying and mitigating risks
- Oversee engineering from design to quality control (full life cycle)
- Expertise in metal fabrication processes and automation
- Evaluate equipment and cost justifications
- Experience with CAD, CAM, CNC, and GD&T
- Implement quality control procedures, drive continuous improvement, analyze production data for optimization
