Health Information Management Director

This hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Health Information Management (HIM) to join their team in a hybrid capacity.

The Health Information Management Director will oversee the daily operations of the Health Information Management department. The Director will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding health information privacy and security. This Health Information Management Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve data management and accessibility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This team is also looking for a leader to provide expert guidance in all areas of health information systems and electronic health records (EHR). This position also requires either an active RHIT or RHIA certification.
