The Role

Are you a self-motivated and established outside sales professional that wants to make money selling an innovative technology while also solving crime? If you thrive in a competitive, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment, this is a game-changing opportunity for you. The School Safety team focuses on Universities (Higher Ed) and K-12 School Systems across the US to create more awareness around school safety as well as protect students & staff on campus. Our solutions take a proactive approach to school safety with License Plate Reading cameras & real-time alerts for local law enforcement and security resource officers (SROs). This person will play a key role in helping Flock grow, owning demand generation, partnerships, and full cycle software sales. Requires regional travel up to 25% of the time.

How you'll make an impact:

  1. Manage the entire sales process (prospecting, qualifying, positioning, closing, and supporting client onboarding) from beginning to close.
  2. Meet (or exceed) monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
  3. Start and nurture strong relationships with leadership at campus police departments for public and private schools along with school district safety officials.
  4. Attend regional and national events in school safety to develop a network.
  5. Build safety plans for schools and educate the school leadership on the impact of the solution, with your supporting team.

We're looking for people who:

  1. 3-5 years of K-12 full cycle SaaS sales experience, with an emphasis on outside/field sales.
  2. Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.
  3. Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
  4. Able to quickly digest and learn technical products, and become the subject matter expert for your clients.
  5. Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  6. Energized by solving customer's problems- e.g. consultative sales approach.
  7. Enjoy working in a fast paced, data-driven sales environment.
  8. Startup experience a plus.
