Apply online today!Summary of DutiesThis position is responsible for providing administrative and staff support duties for the School of Engineering and Computer Science's Vancouver campus under the direction of the administrative manager. Duties include administrative tasks, evaluating budgets, initiating purchases, processing travel itineraries, record keeping, hiring support, and first point of contact for the school.The incumbent coordinates day-to-day activities with internal and external constituents of the school. Oversees office operations such as mail, supplies, equipment, and maintenance requests. Supports faculty, staff, and students with business procedures, paperwork, and scheduling.Required QualificationsHigh school graduation or equivalent, AND two years of increasingly responsible office experience requiring keyboarding or typing; OR equivalent education/experience.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 360 (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint, Teams), Adobe Forms, scheduling and email programs, and highly proficient in Excel.• Must possess ability to work in confidential, busy office setting with multiple demands, and maintain a professional demeanor.• Experience in office setting that serves a variety of constituencies with a wide range of needs and demonstrated ability to understand and apply procedures and policies to work.• Demonstrated knowledge of WSU systems and some experience with accounting or bookkeeping.Essential Duties:65% School of Engineering and Computer Science Support30% Travel and Purchasing5% Other duties as assigned.Application instructions:Applicants must attach a resume, cover letter and a contributions to equity statement at the time of application.
