The Financial Advisory Training Program is an intensive one-year or less job training program designed to provide young adults with in-classroom skill development, access to internships, job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Participants also receive an educational stipend.
The program includes training in technical and professional skills, followed by an internship with a top company, such as Bank of America, New York Life Insurance Company, or JPMorgan Chase.
Eligibility criteria:
- Age: 18-29 years
- Education: High school graduate or GED recipient
- Work authorization: Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Availability: Monday-Friday throughout the program
- Motivation: Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Degree status: Have not obtained a Bachelors degree
Benefits include professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, ongoing support, guidance, and potential college credit. Internship participants receive an educational stipend of $525 per week.
