Network Platform Manager / Cisco ACI / Hybrid in Charlotte
The Platform Manager for Data Center and Cloud Networks will lead the design and implementation of the network infrastructure across data centers, Carrier Neutral Facilities, and cloud connectivity. The role focuses on executing a next-generation software-defined networking (SDN) strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity to private and public clouds.
You’ll be responsible for defining KPIs, optimizing network availability, performance, and aligning with security best practices. Overseeing WAN, LAN, VoIP, wireless, and security (Cisco, Palo Alto), you will drive network standardization, automation, SDWAN integration, load balancing, and DDI (Infoblox) harmonization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the health of data center networks, scaling Cisco (ASR, Catalyst, Nexus) topologies with OTV, OSPF, and BGP.
- Implement changes using automation/orchestration solutions while maintaining network standards.
- Lead operational excellence projects focusing on SDN/SD-WAN, Palo Alto security, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint firewalls, and Riverbed Steelhead WAN acceleration.
- Oversee network tools like Cisco DNA, Prime, SolarWinds, NetBrain, LiveNX, Gigamon, Splunk, and Panorama for monitoring and management.
- Lead a global team to develop next-gen network architectures, ensuring SLAs and network efficiency using Cisco and Palo Alto solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
- Advanced experience with Cisco (ASR, Catalyst, Nexus) and routing protocols (OTV, OSPF, BGP).
- Expertise in SDN, SD-WAN, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, and Riverbed Steelhead.
- Experience with network management tools (Cisco DNA, Prime, SolarWinds, NetBrain, LiveNX, Gigamon, Splunk, Panorama).
