Financial Planning Specialist:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, financial professional to help run our retirement department. The activity in our practice is high (about 15+ client meetings per week) thus we like to move quickly. Our highest goal is providing meaningful service and planning to our existing and prospective clients. Must be able to contribute to the team in the following ways:
• Run a complete financial plan that consists of life insurance, college education, retirement, asset allocation, etc.
• Preparing client deliverables, including investment proposals, asset allocation models, fact sheets, 529 comparisons, single fund solutions, alternatives (PE, HF), VUL/VA illustrations with asset allocations, insurance illustrations (Life, DI, LTC) and donor advised funds.
• Act as a liaison between the client and investment operations/home office for movement of funds, including initiating, expediting, and tracking account transfers and rollovers with exceptional follow through and deposit/withdrawal of funds.
• Work with clients to process paperwork to open investment accounts, including managed, brokerage, 529's and variable annuities with proper & compliant documentation (best interest forms, etc.) for various States.
• Fully licensed required to execute trades, rebalance accounts and allocate/reallocate clients' investment accounts.
• Ability to assess and understand an investor's risk profile which will require some data entry, with accuracy and adhering to strict compliance regulations.
• Analyze clients' statements/existing investment portfolios to assess fees and potential dislocation of asset classes.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and rebalancing of investment accounts, concierge service to all clients, and identify tax loss harvesting strategies
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication with team members, prospective clients, and clients.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree - required (finance, business or economic major preferred)
• 2 years of experience in the investment wealth management field - required
• Series 6 & 63 registrations - required
• Proficiency - a MUST in: Outlook, Zoom software, Adobe Pro Acrobat, Excel worksheets, Word formatting/tables and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be adept in technology and able to learn new software quickly
• Detail-oriented and personable with exceptional follow through
